Our Vision

Welcome to the new Long Beach Restaurant Week, an event created for local merchants, by local merchants, for the love of our food and friends, old and new.  Our aim is to offer an affordable prix-fix menu for our guests, to showcase our finest cuisine, drinks, and ambience.  This is an incredible opportunity to experience the real taste of our community, and to unite our neighborhood businesses.  We hope you will join us, either as a merchant, or as a guest in one of our participating dining establishments.  We are confident you will love our offerings, and we look forward to seeing you there.  Bon Appetit!


Meet the Founding Team

We are two local restaurant owners, who felt there was a need to do something a little bit different.


Mark, Owner of Lola’s Kitchen & Wine Bar

Mark McCarthy, co-owner of Lola’s Kitchen and Wine Bar is a long-time resident of the Long Beach community, and is passionate about food and fostering a relaxing and casual vibe where people can enjoy creative fare and fun drinks.  If you know Long Beach, you know Mark McCarthy.  He is a generous supporter of local events and many charitable programs, knowing that giving back keeps this community vital and strong.


Matt, Owner of LB Social

Chef Matthew Hisiger, who earned four stars from Newsday at the former Panama Hatties in Huntington, is owner and chef of LB Social, a moderately priced neighborhood spot in Long Beach that formerly housed restaurant, Sugo.

As chef of a place he calls “home,” he prides himself on food that is locally sourced, fresh, and simply prepared.
